he got playing ultimate Frisbee at school. Man it is nasty!!Here is the xrays. Whats cool is they gave us a CD with the photos on it. So being a great dad I am sharing his misery with everyone!!! Shocked Grin

Ouch!! I sympathize with your son. The only broken bone I ever had in 65 years was my right hand little finger.....
and it was painful Shocked (Batting injury, Little League)

Looks like his "naughty finger" too  Roll Eyes ... I hope he heals quickly!

I did the same thing to my naughty finger on three separate occasions when I was in school, once with a baseball and twice with a basketball. The middle joint bends in ways it was never meant to bend ever since.

Well got to the doctors and we really got lucky I guess. Although this is a serious break because it involves the growth plate he felt that since it was not displaced it should heal properly. 3 weeks in a brace then 3-6 to six weeks for him to have complete motion.
