Hit the 70's in Louisville, KY today.  Went over to the lake in southern Indiana for a few hours late this afternoon. The water just lost all its ice covering this past Sunday. Water temp is yet in the high 30's.
Nothing happening, but it sure was nice to hit the water again.

Wishin' ya good fishin'  Cheers!  Rich

We'll be in the low to mid 50's all week but the main thing is at nite, no temps below freezing.  Most of the snow is gone, gonna rain the next couple of days, and best of all, the wind is gonna maintain a 10-20 mph the whole time.  I'm anticipating the ice on the lakes to be gone by weeks end.  We can smell the scent of skunks every now and then so their hibernation is over which is usually the real mark of spring...

I've seen some doves and quite a few dead skunks and coons along the roads.

60's to 70 here in Va.  Haven't been to a big lake just yet, can't get the boat out of the barn.  In my mother in laws farm pond the fish seem to be moving/stirring.  Caught my first bass of the year there this past Monday.

Yep! Went out yesterday afternoon and managed to catch 12 bass. Nothing big, but fun just the same.
Would have been a perfect day, but when I was loading the boat, found out that one of the bunks
on my Tracker TrailStar trailer had rotted out and the lag bolts holding the bunks had popped out with
just one bolt holding each bunk(3 for each bunk). Managed to get the boat loaded on the trailer but
the boat was sitting lopsided on the trailer. What a piece of junk!!!!!!!!!!! Will never buy another
Tracker product Angry Angry

That happened to me a while back I purchased new wood (marine grade) and recarpeted them was pretty easy.  Needless to say I understand your frustration with the tracker trailers but mine lasted 9 years before I bought a continental....

Tubes?? The tires on the trailer are still in good shape with not much  wear and no signs of dry rotting.
Have replaced the brake bulbs twice on the trailer in the so-called submersible lamp enclosures. Chalked
around the lamp enclosures this last time with silicone.

Was referreing to the the frame of the trailer ...

Frame is o.k., other than not having the provision to mount the swivel bunks without having
to cut and weld adapters for the swivel mounts. My buddy has offered to help me build and install
new bunks using "treated" wood for the bunks. He has owned 3 Tracker boats over the years and has
had to replace the bunks on each of the three Tracker trailers.

Edit: Sorry Midwesternfisherman for hijacking your post Embarrassed I didn't mean to. Just had to vent Cheesy
