Be safe out there
« on: May 27, 2017, 08:36:06 AM »
Our lakes are flooded but thousands of people will be on them this weekend.  We are expecting storms with golf ball sized hail and winds to 70 mph.  I for one am staying home.

If you are on the water this weekend, please keep an eye on the sky and a weather app on your phone.

When driving home from Powell yesterday I saw a steady stream of vehicles pulling boats heading north on Highway 89. That's why I went up the week BEFORE Memorial Day weekend! Being retired has its advantages!  ;D

Yes it does.  I try to avoid Saturday and Holiday fishing if I can.  I leave that to the "weekend warriors".

I prefer to fish during the week vs the weekend.
