Small Boat Fishing Lakes
« on: June 05, 2018, 01:26:51 PM »
My son and I are looking to do another road trip south to do some bass fishing either in the fall or next spring. We had fun last year at Guntersville, but as we only use a 14' jon boat w/ trolling motor we are looking for suggestions on smaller lakes to fish in the VA, Tenn, NC areas.

Appreciate any help.

In Northern VA we have Curtis lake in Stafford, VA, Burke Lake in Fairfax county and Lake Brittle, all TM required lakes.  You can Google all of them for details on their acreage and find them on Goggle Earth.  All are a nice size.
