Post Your CatchSubmitted: January 15th, 2009 by Russell K. M iller My Stepdaughter, Cassie Heavrin and I were fishing on Lake Barkley this past fall (Sept 2008)while she was taking a much-needed break from school. We were fishing an old roadbed near Eddyville State Prison when she caught this 5lb., 8 oz Largemouth. Initially, I thought she was "Snagged" on the roadbed (we were Carolina-Rig Fishing) which led to the fish being nicknamed "Snag". The fish was weighed, measured and released back into Eddy bay! Prior to releasing the fish, it was proudly displayed during a lunch break to all of our friends at Eddy Creek Marina and nearly everyone in the surrounding area. A Replica Mount was made of the fish by a fellow in Texas and his mount looks exactly as "Snag" did when it was landed. Read/Submit CommentsOn 1/16/2009 at 6:57 am Billy-Jo Boittnot wrote:
