Submitted: June 11th, 2009 by Conor Cahill CAUGHT WITH A BLK/BLU STRIKE 1/2oz STRIKE KING JIG IN A PRIVATE LAKE IN SOUTH JERSEY. SHE WAS WEIGHED ON AN ELECTRIC SCALE AND IT CAME OUT A LITTLE OVER 8LBS. MY BUDDY CAUGHT HER EARLIER IN THE YEAR WHEN SHE WAS FULL OF EGGS AND WELL OVER 9LBS. WE COULD TELL IT WAS THE SAME FISH BECAUSE ONE OF THE GILL PLATES WAS STICKING OUT OF ITS GILL. THE FISH WAS RELEASED AFTER A COUPLE MINUTES OF PICTURE TAKING. FOR NJ, THIS IS ONE MONSTER BASS.
