This big guy I thought was smaller when I hooked him. He did not fight that hard untill I got him near the boat. Then he Dove and went under the boat. Now if I were in a bass boat that would not be a problem but I do not own a bass boat.. I fish out of a canoe! I fought him up to the surface and when I saw how big he was I was so amazed that I stoped reeling!!!! Luckly My friend was able to reach back under the boat and net him. He was 22 inches, 8pounds 2oz. He is a connecticut trophy fish. P.S He was very tasty.
