Families make special Christmas memories at Bass Pro Shops Santa's Wonderland
Free photos with Santa, crafts and activities begin Nov. 14 at Bass Pro Shops stores across the U.S. and Canada
Bass Pro Shops Santa's Wonderland is returning to Bass Pro Shops at 77* stores throughout the U.S. and Canada. Santa will arrive on Saturday, November 14 at 5 p.m. for a special preview celebration. Families are invited to create lasting memories at Bass Pro Shops from November 14 through December 24 through free photos with Santa, crafts for kids, plus games and activities to celebrate the season.
"Santa's arrival is a special celebration featuring Christmas carols in front of the store. On November 14, we'll also be treating customers to free cookies and McSteven's hot chocolate," said Katie Mitchell, Bass Pro Shops communications manager. "Children are invited to help Santa, through a little magic, to light up the outside of the store and a big Christmas tree in the main entrance at participating locations. Families can then follow Santa inside for the unveiling of Santa's Wonderland.
Santa's Wonderland transforms Bass Pro Shops into a sprawling Christmas village featuring rustic Christmas cabins, moving model trains, RC trucks, animated Christmas characters, interactive talking caribou, and live elves set amongst snow-covered hills, illuminated Christmas trees and an arctic sky. The Christmas village offers old-time model trains, remote control trucks, a laser arcade and a foam toy arcade. Families can also spend time at one of the activity tables where they can write a letter to Santa and make Christmas decorations and handmade crafts to take home, all for free.
The highlight of Bass Pro Shops Santa's Wonderland is the big guy himself. Families visiting Santa Claus receive a FREE 4 x 6 studio-quality photo to cherish for years to come. Millions of families return to Santa's Wonderland year after year to participate in this magical tradition.
Share the Wonder in 2015
This year Bass Pro Shops is inviting everyone to Share the Wonder by sharing holiday memories and making wishes come true. Everyone who has their photo taken with Santa will have the opportunity to share their photos with friends and family via a special digital Christmas video card. Favorite Christmas memories can be uploaded and shared online with family, friends, and Bass Pro Shops fans. Celebrities from the world of sports and outdoors will be sharing their photos with Santa on social media and viewers are able to create custom captions for the photos for a chance to win great prizes. In addition to sharing memories with family and friends, Bass Pro Shops is helping create new memories. Customers have the chance to win their Christmas wish list and share the generosity with a member of their community. November 14 free preview night
• 5 p.m.-The first 100 kid's to visit Santa's Wonderland will receive a free Razzi Raccoon Plush Outdoor Buddy.
• 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. — Santa will be giving away a $25 Bass Pro Shops gift card to one lucky winner every half hour.
• 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. — Families can take home a 4x6 free photo with Santa.
• 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. — Free craft: Kids can decorate a Santa stocking.
