Bass Pro Shops asks anglers to trade in gear and help donate to local charities during massive fishing event
WHAT: As part of the annual Bass Pro Shops Spring Fishing Classic, customers can trade in used rods and reels that will be donated to local charities in exchange for big savings.
WHEN: Wednesday, February 23 through Sunday, March 5
(March 9 - 19 in Canada and Alaska locations)
WHERE: Bass Pro Shops locations across North America.
IMPACT: To date, Bass Pro Shops has donated about 250,000 products to local youth-focused nonprofit organizations as part of the company's mission to inspire everyone to enjoy, love and conserve the great outdoors. Last year 100,000 people caught a fish at Bass Pro Shops, many for the first time.
Customers that donate used rods and reels can receive trade-in savings and instant bonus offers up to $200.
