So much for KVD being all washed up as he won the Grand Lake Elite with over 83lbs and picked up $100,000.  The guy is incredible.

You are sure right about that !  he is a fishing machine. did you  watch it live on bassmaster ? Did you  see the concentration ? he was looking  AND listening all the time while he casting and cranking. LOVED IT !

He has a lot of years of competition left if he chooses to keep fishing the next few years. It will be interesting to watch. I think he will be around for quite a while yet, competing.

Age doesn't always mean your done in fishing. At age 55 Woo Daves won the 2000 Bass Master Classic. I remember about 2 years ago Rick Clun won a tournament and he was what 70. And lets not forget about Larry Nixon. Kevin still has several good years left in him.
