Does anyone know why Bill Dance does not fish in conventional lakes instead of private all the time?

I guess because it's not about how many or how big the fish are but to show different ways of catching them.

Also, lightly pressured fish in private ponds are easier to catch than more heavily pressured fish in public waters!

I am sure Bill fishes other waters also. But when he wants to go fish and film his shows, he fishes the spots that make it easier for him to film the presentation styles, and not fight a crowd, as mentioned above.
