With that in mind, here is a crappie recipe that might interest you, should you sack some slab crappie as fall fishing improves: Special Fried Crappie (with dipping sauce) Two to four, 8-ounce fillets Cook fillets in microwave 2 1/2 to 3 minutes at a high setting.
