Submitted: June 24th, 2015 by Christopher Pettersen Bank fishing the Assunpink WMA with my son William. Caught this 23.5", 7lb largemouth bass on Arbogast black jointed Jitterbug. Casted to the weed line, as the lure sat motionless for the initial cast, this linker, quietly inhaled it.Did not realize the size, until it broke the water. This is a personal best. More importantly, I am grateful to share the experience with my son, who, at 16yrs old, is turning out to be a great angler himself. Fish was caught & released, hopefully to be enjoyed again one day.
