Submitted: March 11th, 2009 by Jimmy Powell This is my 8 year old son, Joey, with his first large mouth. It weighed 5.2 lbs. We were fishing chartreuse lizards weightless in a school of suspended bass in 30 foot of water. He fought the fish all by himself and I lipped the fish for him. Hard to tell which is larger, the bass or his smile. This is the beginning of a life long fishing passion. He skunked his old man that trip and says he will be with me every weekend on the water.
