Submitted: March 23rd, 2009 by Gary Walter This smallmouth was caught on a crankbait on Chippewa Lake in mid Michigan that is more known for its pan fish. It was caught and measured but not weighed, but it qualified for a Michigan Angler award due to its length which was 28 inchs and then released under my dock. A previous angler award is on my hat in the picture.... that was for a bowfin (dogfish) also caught in Chippewa Lake. Please comment on the above photo.
