Submitted: September 30th, 2009 by David Pollard Caught this 3 1/2lb off a $1.37 lure, chartreuse bottom jerk bait. Me, I get better results using jerkbaits as a slow to medium retrive swimer. The kinds you find at wal-mart. This is my first yr bass fishing and at end of spring, caught a 9lb bass off green tiger striped foliage type jerkbait as swimmer. This in my picture was my 2nd of spring '09. Love it. been catfishing last 3-4yrs but never bass fished @ 45yr old. Thank you sir. I have no boat and off shore is my only choice.
