Post Your Catch

These were caught at the Rock Quarry Lakes in Maysville NC. the biggest was 6 pounds and the smallest was 3 1/2 pounds. This was about 4 hours worth of fishing and we released more than we kept.

Possibly would have been a good idea to release all bass! There are many different species that are better eating.

Nice catch! All species need selective harvesting. From what I understand you need to harvest approximately 20-25 lbs of bass per surface acre of water per year and 4-6 lbs of sunfish per acre per year in southern climates and about half that number in northern states.
